How should you go about choosing the right kind of boiler for your home?

The incoming Autumn and Winter will be upon us all soon, so you need to make the right choice. We have a few failsafe measures on selecting the best boiler for your home, that we think would be useful for you in this pursuit.

  • How large is your home? If you live in a classic 3-bedroom family house, then a boiler between 28 and 35kW would be best for you. For a large home, say 4-5 bedroom, you’d need a 35 to 42kW boiler
  • Can you fit it somewhere that’s safe and out of the way? If you only have space for your boiler in your attic, you can consider a larger model. But, if you only have space in a kitchen cabinet, you may be limited to a small or medium boiler
  • Make sure that you are able to have it serviced properly. Does the boiler come with a warranty and or check-up service?
  • It has to be efficient! Of course, you want to save on your bills with this new boiler, so it should be modern and as energy-saving as possible

We also recommend that you speak with a professional. A 5-minute call on the phone or a brief exchange via email would clear up any doubts or questions you may have. This is especially recommended for anyone who is older and needs extra help.

Feel free to contact us with any further questions you may have. We’d be delighted to have a conversation with you and get to know what your boiler needs are.
